Types of printable vinyls

Calendared vinyl

is a type of plastic film used primarily for signage, vehicle wraps, and decals. It is made by extruding a heated PVC mixture through rollers that flatten it into a thin sheet. This process, known as calendaring, results in a material that is less expensive than cast vinyl but somewhat thicker and less conformable. Calendared vinyl typically has a lifespan of about 1 to 5 years, depending on the quality and exposure to outdoor conditions, making it well-suited for short to medium-term applications.

TexWalk

is a type of adhesive vinyl designed specifically for temporary flooring and wall applications. It features a textured, non-slip surface that makes it safe for use in high-traffic areas. TexWalk is unique because it can be applied to a variety of surfaces including carpets, tiles, wood, metal, and even uneven or rough surfaces without the need for additional adhesives. It’s commonly used for promotional graphics in retail spaces, trade shows, and events because it is easy to install and remove without leaving residue. This makes TexWalk a versatile and convenient option for temporary advertising and signage.

Banner scrim

is a durable vinyl material reinforced with a polyester mesh, providing excellent tear resistance. It’s ideal for outdoor banners due to its ability to withstand weather elements while supporting high-quality print graphics.
